Cookies
Some of the websites use so-called cookies. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not contain viruses.
Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.
Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted after your visit. Other cookies may remain stored on your end device for longer until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when the browser is closed. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.
Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions you want (e.g. shopping cart function) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies for analyzing your surfing behaviour) are stored, these are dealt with separately in this data protection notice.
Server log files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
Referrer (previously visited website)
Requested web page or file
Browser type and browser version
Operating system used
Device type used
time of access
IP address in anonymous form (only used to determine the location of access)
This data is not merged with other data sources.
The basis for data processing is Art. 6 Paragraph 1 lit. f GDPR, which allows the processing of data based on legitimate interests.
The operation of the website is in the legitimate interest of the provider.
Google Analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics. This is a service for analyzing access to the Google Inc. (“Google”) website and enables us to improve our website. Cookies enable us to analyze your use of our website. The information collected by means of a cookie (IP address, access time, access duration) is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The evaluation of your activities on our website is sent to us in the form of reports. Google may pass on the information collected to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google.
The Google tracking codes on our website use the “_anonymizeIp()” function, which means that IP addresses are only processed further in abbreviated form in order to rule out any possible direct personal reference to you. You can also prevent the installation of cookies from Google Analytics yourself by setting your browser software accordingly. In this case, however, it may happen that you cannot use all the functions of our website to their full extent.
Google Analytics can also be deactivated and controlled by browser extensions, e.g. http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
At https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/ and at http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html you will find more detailed information on the terms of use and data protection of Google Analytics.
UserVoice’s specific privacy policy can be found at https://www.uservoice.com/privacy.
Google Adwords Conversion Tracking und Remarketing
As an AdWords customer, we also use Google Conversion Tracking, an analysis service provided by Google. Google Adwords places a cookie on your computer (“conversion cookie”) if you have reached our website via a Google ad. These cookies expire after 90 days and are not used for personal identification. If you visit certain of our pages and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can recognize that someone clicked on the ad and was thus forwarded to our page. Each AdWords customer receives a different cookie. This means that cookies cannot be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. AdWords customers find out the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information with which users can be personally identified. If you do not want to participate in the tracking process, you can also refuse the setting of a cookie required for this – for example via a browser setting that generally deactivates the automatic setting of cookies. You can also deactivate cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser so that cookies from the “googleadservices.com” domain are blocked.
We also use the remarketing function of Google Inc. (“Google”). This function is used to present interest-based advertisements to visitors to the website as part of the Google advertising network. The browser of the website visitor stores so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and that make it possible to recognize the visitor when he or she visits websites that belong to the Google advertising network. On these pages, the visitor can then be presented with advertisements that refer to content that the visitor has previously accessed on websites that use Google’s remarketing function. According to its own statements, Google does not collect any personal data during this process. If you still do not wish to use Google’s remarketing function, you can always deactivate it by making the appropriate settings at http://www.google.com/settings/ads. Alternatively, you can disable the use of cookies for interest-based advertising through the Ad Network Initiative by following the instructions at http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp.
Contact form
If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
The processing of the data entered in the contact form is therefore exclusively based on your consent (Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time.
An informal message by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations that took place up until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed).
Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
5. Plugins and Tools
Google Web Fonts
This site uses so-called web fonts provided by Google for the uniform display of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache in order to display text and fonts correctly.
For this purpose, the browser you are using must connect to the Google servers. This gives Google knowledge that our website was accessed via your IP address.
Google Web Fonts are used in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offering.
This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit.f GDPR.
If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font will be used by your computer.
You can find more information about Google Web Fonts at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.
